Wake up. Welcome to the Library of Alexandria. If you are reading this, you are going to die. You didn't notice it, but while you were browsing the Web, you fell through the veil. I don't know what to call this place; I can only describe it as the back rooms of the universe. The closet you never clean; the cabinet drawer that you refuse to open; you are trapped in a world between worlds, one that is inhospitable to human existence.

You won't notice it at first, but eventually you will. You'll walk through a doorway, you'll turn a corner, and suddenly you'll hear the dull hum-buzz of flourescent lights, you'll smell the stink of old moist carpet, and you'll see nothing but six-hundred-million square miles of mono-yellow wallpaper. God save you if you hear something wandering around nearby, because it sure heard you.

I'm trapped in here, but it seems that electromagnetic waves are one of the few things that can cross the threshold; that's why I can still communicate through the InterNet- at least, I think I can. I'm writing this on a computer I found at The End, and it seems that the data I'm writing on this floppy disk is being transported to a website of sorts. On this computer, I have compiled everything that I've learned about the Back Rooms. Hopefully, with this information, you can survive longer than most.

Good be with you, Wanderer,
