Preface

I was born into a liminal point of history- young enough to miss out on the early Internet, but old enough to still feel its presence. I did not see the birth of the World Wide Web, but I saw it in its prime. A fleeting moment, before the censorship of governments and the invasion of corporate entities, the internet flowed with creativity and possibility. I was enamoured by its infinite expanse. It was a new world, a perfect world. I was an explorer, venturing into the depths of its binary forest, searching for universes kept secret from the physical plane. Each page was a universe to ponder, and my monitor was a shining gateway, a mysterious obelisk of curiousity and light on the face of an otherwise dark and uncertain Earth.
